It is my understanding that it is against the NIL rules to use NIL as an inducement to enrollment. I believe that is what he is referencing. It is what saban complained about Jimbo last year. But you were an idiot if you didn’t think he would be the best at doing the same thing once he had the infrastructure in place.

Everyone loves it until a rival or someone else does the same shite, it’s not even hard anymore, raise 50 million and you are in. It’s amazing to me that the SEC as a whole doesn’t realize the huge threat this is

Saban, at a private event, was making a general statement about how NIL is affecting recruiting. He unfairly singled out Jimbo, and apologized later and clarified it is a nationwide problem, but that didn't stop Jimbo from flipping his lid.
This is what got Jimbo ridiculed.
Imagine they are siblings.
Saban says "Mom, Jimbo didn't brush his teeth this morning"
Jimbo says "Saban has playboys under his mattress! Saban has cigarettes hidden in the basement! Saban sneaks out to hang out with his friends in the middle of the night through the upstairs bathroom window onto the gable!"
WTF Jimbo. Just WTF.
That's where the ridicule came from.
Don't let these AnM fans try to change the facts of the history of the actual situation.

It's the Lance Armstrong rule.
When you already know everyone else is cheating, it's hard to believe the guy(s) beating all of them isn't.
