That was freaking awesome. CBS will not be sorry they made the switch. CBS viewers who have never seen stadiums as large as the B1G's are in for a treat.

Better hope the B1G does not expand south or we might just get an ABC slot lol.

Even IF Espn creates a great intro song for SEC football, it will take years for it to be as loved as CBS's current SEC on CBS intro music. Only way they could out do it is to create a song that somehow incorporates Dixie, but woke ESPN wouldn't dare do that.

I'm just waiting to see Big10 fans reactions when you start the 2nd half, and the camera is focused on Gary while he talks about some stupid story of the game, or some other story and the only game you can see is happening in the background.

And I hope it happens after an obviously good no call on some targeting, which means you'll be hearing about that play for the rest of the game.

This reminds me of when Michigan fans claimed they stole Doug Nussmeier from Alabama.

Gary and the Big 10 will be a great fit. I won't be upset to hear color commentary from someone else.

I hope he annoys B1G fans by talking about Ohio State even when they aren't playing like he did SEC fans by talking about Alabama all of the time.

Most likely he will annoy you all by talking about Alabama all the of the time.

In fact, I'd wager a bet you're going to be hearing a good bit about past SEC games Gary has covered.

People need to remember the intro song originated with the NFL during Super Bowl XXI.

My guess is CBS will replace him if he does. Not that I mind listening to stories about the SEC because I love college football.

Cbs says the new agreement with big10 starts in 2023. But the contract with the sec doesn’t expire until 2024. Is espn buying out the last year of the cbs contract with the sec?

Seeing big10 teams in it just completely takes away the excitement of that song lol.

Are you kidding me?

ESPN is the "Aggy" sports broadcasting rights. A frick up is for certain.

It’s all good until your watching a raucous crowd of 45k for Purdue & Minnesota. Meanwhile on ESPN it’s Oklahoma and Auburn, Texas A&M v Texas, and Georgia v LSU., Alabama Tennessee

This. Hell, even Ole Miss carries more cache than Indiana, Minnesota and Purdue.
