It's a neutral site. Playing against LSU in Baton Rouge 3 straight years is the dumbest shite I've ever heard.

If recent years has taught us anything, it's that all decisions are made based off of $$$'s. Having it at a neutral site would be disasterous from a financial standpoint. You would have to pay to run a facility but would not sell enough tickets to pay for it... Even then, LSU started getting personnel ready for a game yesterday. It takes time to prepare for a football game.

If you can't have it in Gainesville, at least LSU will sell tickets and UF will at least break even.

The past is a sunk cost.

LSU had to move game to a bye week, move a game to the opposing site, without a return trip, and move a game to Monday night all in consecutive weeks.

shite happens

They should just play at Raymond James. Bucs are on the road this week

Actually they might because Bama owns Tiger Stadium. Its Bryant Denny West

If it is played in Tiger Stadium it wont be THE tiger stadium that youre accustomed to. Wont have near the amount of attendance than a scheduled night game in TS thats for sure.

So if youre worried about the crowd noise then I really wouldnt be.

The problem is USCe didn't come close to breaking even last year and Florida knows this.

This thread is the dumbest shite Ive ever heard. You have been lobbying for the game to stay in Gainesville this whole time, but yet you are preparing to evacuate. You are just trolling with this thread and you have no credible "sources" or link to the "information" you supposedly read.

Classless move by UF. More worried about playing a road game than people's safety

If the game is cancelled, UF has a 0% chance of winning. If the game is in BR, UF has lets say a 30% chance of winning.

If you would rather the game cancelled over being played in BR, it means your fear of losing is greater than your want to win. Which is an embarrassing attitude to have.

Oh my god. Just call Auburn and ask if they're okay with hosting a game this weekend on general admission tickets (after Florida season ticket holders can get tickets). If that doesn't work then go find a high school football stadium in Alabama. Have NO fans there, just emergency medical personnel, a few media personnel, and the announcers (and radio announcers). Be DONE with this already, there's no reason to be haggling over it.

One thing is for sure: the game needs to be played. Cancelling the game should not be permitted by the SEC.

Play it at Grant Field in Atanta or at Jordan-Hare in Auburn or at Ladd in Mobile. LSU would have no advantage over UF in any of those places.

It would be hard as hell to play anytime without electricity.

Are they going to pull out the old black/chalk boards and put a guy on a ladder in 30-40 mph winds to keep score, then designate folks with a stop watch to keep the play clock, etc?

I would like to see MNF in Gainesville. Bring in Dandy Don, Frank Gifford and Howard Cosell to do the broadcast.

Why should LSU be penalized because UF can't host the game?

Why should you be rewarded?

Besides, it wouldn't be penalized. Your number of home games against one another over a 4 year period would be identical. You got them at home last year and this year. They'd get you at home in 2017 & 2018. It would be back to you in 2019 and back to them in 2020. Not that hard.

If this storm stays on track, Gainesville will still be in a shite situation Monday

Except this wouldn't be a true home game for the Tigers.

In your scenario LSU gets the money hit for a "home" game with 50k fans.

LSU shouldn't even offer if that is the case. Let UF forfeit

Not that hard

you're special

So LSU handles the cost and logistics of a last minute game then losses a home game the following year. Sounds exactly the same.

Absolutely ridiculous that Florida is being this stubborn. The whole university should be ashamed of this non sense if this is really true. Move the damn game for the safety of everyone it's not that damn hard. It isn't the first time it has happened and won't be the last.
