LSU did get lucky.
A&M's kicker missed 2 field goals that would have won the game - LSU's "great" defense had absolutely ZERO to do with that.

Since when is every FG a "gimme"? Especially in college with shitty kickers and wide hashes? Hell, I watched a guy in professional football miss two "makable" FGs indoors tonight in the NFL.
LSU's D should absolutely get credit for forcing those FG attempts especially after a long kick return given up by the STs.

I strolled by Coach Sumlin's office the other day and his #2 goal while coaching at A&M is to move into the top 10-12 programs on MrWiseGuy's Ranking of Programs.

Reality is that the college football scene is cyclical - anyone who thinks their team is going to stay in "Tier 1" indefinitely are the delusional ones.

I would venture to say that many CFB Observants outside of CS, Texas would share the same sentiments that I do regarding the A&M program.

A&M's fan base, in reality (read not on the internet), has won the respect of every venue we've visited thus far this season, and we'll continue to do so because we're a knowledgeable and gracious group of graduates.
If the perception of our fan bases hinged upon how well we post on the SECRant I think all our fan bases would be equally effed.

That'll be a first. You sure haven't let them do much talking in this troll thread.
They didn't do much talking "On the field" against Fla. or LSU. Unless, of course, you think, "We didn't get beaten that badly" is big stuff. Apparently, in your fanbase's eyes it sets you up to dominate LSU from here on out and win x squared future national championships.

15-20 to top 10-12? Not much of a move. You get a little better on defense and you got a chance to win the west (in 2 years maybe). And that means you are competing for the NC. Not next year cause Bama and LSU are going to get a LOT better. We both have a ton of freshman playing right now.
