Look, y'all are a decent team, but if Johnson can't get pick up the blitz and get the ball out quickly vs Bama y'all are in for a long day and could lose at least 3 more games after the Bama loss. I say that,and I still hope yall do win Saturday. Anything to push Saban into retirement is cool with me.

The biggest news for A&M so far this year is that our starting quarterback is out for the season. If we were to win Saturday, this would likely no longer matter but it is likely having an effect on the perception of the quality of the team at the moment.

Honestly, as a long time (class of '96) die hard Ag, I'm not sure we need to be ranked toady.
I can't tell if the defense got a lot better after the Miami arse whippin, or if we had a couple of favorable matchups against auburn and arkie.
Either way, we will know the answer Saturday.
