That’s where I was raised (NW Bradenton on Riverview Blvd) and my dad is in Lakewood ranch while my mom is in NE Sarasota. I hope your AMI home is ok. They got the worst of it- I believe I saw rod and reel pier was wiped out. But hopefully your Bradenton home is ok. Mainland seemed to do better than feared like I mentioned in earlier post.

Over in Jacksonville and luckily it breezed past. Have family in Bradenton and Sarasota- while they got hit hard, the wind shear that cut it down to a three before the nasty stuff hit made it not as big of a deal when it did hit the mainland. The barrier islands definitely got it worse but my best friend and both parents (living separately pretty far apart) all experienced the eye around 1030-11. Really surreal videos coming out of that. Again luckily very limited damage where it hit at least from people I know due to the drop off in velocity. We got very very lucky.

Not to be a homer but are we honestly not including ERob in this convo? A key component to the best recruiting class in history, and I’d remind you that UT is only two sacks ahead of A&M, and while we haven’t played world class olines, we also haven’t played USCe yet. Let’s see how it goes

Miss ya over on 247 my man
Put this in off topic too, but for ags, help a group who evacuates Ukrainian orphans
Posted by GiGeM2010 on 3/10/22 at 8:57 pm
Hey all I also posted this in the off topic board, but the more eyes the better! The person running this is a family member of a former employee of mine who is using a small van to make trips between Ukraine and Poland to bring refugee orphans to Poland for safety and then run supplies back into Ukraine. He’s apparently out of funding and is now putting everything on personal credit. My coworker set this up for him to try and rent a bigger van, get more supplies, and get more children out if the country. They met their initial goal but there is so much work to be done… everything helps!

Hey all I know we all pick at each other in good fun, but this is definitely a worthy cause that I hope we can all get behind and agree on. Well I’m sorry you feel that way. We are just trying to do a good thing here. Have a good night, and feel free to not attend since you obviously have issues with Aspen. I’m sorry that you apparently had a bad experience enough to be vocally degrading a day where thousands of people nationally are volunteering to donate care. Or worse, if you truly are basing your opinion on a vocal minority that created a website.

The problem is my comment is to promote a great event, while yours is to generalize against an entire organization…. Based on…. A website?

The good news is she got what she needed! I hope
The office was able to provide some sort of financial solution too, because I know partials aren’t cheap! If y’all are ever in the Miami area, look me up on 247 and let me know. I can do what I can to help down here too!

Honestly I’ve been with Aspen for 6 years and either I didn’t know that or forgot it since we didn’t have one last year during COVID. Yes! Immediate family members (spouses and children) are also eligible!

Again, every office is different. Has she tried going to a different nearby office? I wish there was a way to send private messages to people on here. I’d love to be able to direct you to a way to have a better outcome.

Big company- big target. If you were in an organization that every area is run differently by the individual owners but they share the same name, the few vocal people who had bad experience get loud. We see millions of patients per year. What fraction of that is on the subreddit? Karen’s gonna Karen no matter what you do. I tried to tell a patient today to save money and NOT get sometime before his insurance kicks in. He said he didn’t understand and how dare I try to upsell him?! Never going to please everybody, and the angry minority is the vocal one.
That said, my post isn’t to argue about whether or not you like my organization. It’s about the fact that we are donating free dental care to veterans and we want to give back to our community.

I’m sorry if you had a bad experience man- every aspen is privately owned by a local dentist so it’s like going to a private practice with a big name in front. I’ll assure you that every aspen is different just like any other doctor or dentist you go to. I have a healthcare background before I got into operations, and I guarantee I wouldn’t be here if we weren’t fully committed to patient care first and foremost. The great thing about aspen is that we really work more to tell patients what they need, even if it’s not what they want to hear. We feel that if you do the right thing for our patients, they will spread the word, and that’s a lot better than trying to gouge people now.

Lol just a lowly regional manager- I just enjoy being able to give back to the community, especially our vets who aren’t always given the best opportunities when they get home. For an example, did y’all know that the VA only provides dental coverage if you are 100% service related disabled?
