Tale as old as time. Tamu loses early playing bad and continues to get penalized in a way other programs wouldn’t (see cfp standings 2020). A&M needs to keep winning

Not to mention we “gave” them 7 points on a kickoff return since special team blunders count as “giving” points away here

If you win this week you'll be ranked. Why does it matter if you are in the middle of October you guys go 6-1 from here on out you'll be in the playoffs. Who cares about being ranked 20th just win games

In this thread, all I said was that we were not "trounced" by Miami. Demonstrably true.

A&M hasn't earned a ranking. Neither have half of the T25 but that is a different argument.

Some A&M fans have a massive inferiority complex.
Also, A&M fans are basically the only ones who think A&M should've made the CFP in 2020.

I don't really care that we're unranked. We always seem to play better when we aren't. We could win out and I'm pretty sure we still wouldn't make the CFP given the other teams in contention.
An A&M win this weekend would be great for A&M and would marginalizes Texas' win over Bama earlier this season, also hurting their SOS. Couldn't be a more perfect situation.
Now we just gotta do it.
