Jake Matthews just agreed to a 5 year, 75 M extension. That makes him the 3rd highest paid OL in the league.

Mike Evans inked a similar deal last year at 5 year, 82.5 M. He's the 2nd highest paid WR.

Von Miller is, of course, the highest paid LB. His monster deal is 6 year, 144.1 M.

But it doesn't end there. Even Ryan Tannehill makes some serious money at 4 year, 77 M.

We rich and we getting richer.

Just like Lsu. All of that talent and nothing to show for it at your school.

Hey at least we have two national championships in recent memory with our talent. Maybe that’s crappy compared to Bama but that’s a hell of a lot better than most of the conference.

Well... I see at least 3 on that list that want to renegotiate their contracts in the next 2yrs.

yea, this is more like a negative to brag about when you haven't won anything.

"we had some of the best players in the NFL and won 8 games"

That list made my day. Ten years ago there is no way we were the only program from Texas on that list.

That's a ton of money for a guy who's never even made a Pro Bowl. And he pretty much cost you guys the Super Bowl

Man I wish Jake Matthews was a top 3 LT. Unfortunately this is just the market shift. By the time his deal is up he will be a bottom half paid starting LT.
