Since you haven't won a title since Hitler was in power in Germany before WW2, I was curious as to whether you are happy with the head guy. You are paying him 7.5 million for:

9-4
8-5 (regression)
9-1 (no playoff in COVID season)
7-3

His last year at FSU was 5-6 and we all know how he left that program. Very happy LSU isn't hiring him...Yikes

Just depends on the day.

They were melting a little earlier in the year.

Clearly Fisher is a disaster. Not sure why Woodward hired him at A&M. Not sure why Woodward is trying to hire him a 2nd time at LSU.

You know…. Maybe this shitty thread should be about Woodward.

He got a raise. They are paying him 9.5 million now. They could've just hired Pittman at 4 million and got the same results.

Jeezus. Another day another thread by LSU folks about Jimbo and A&M. The last one has barely fallen off the front page.

At this point I almost want LSU to get decent again, just so you nutsacks stop being such obsessive bleeding vageens about everything A&M all the time.

Ed O. made how much per win last year?

What about this year?

There's been at least two Aggie threads about the LSU coaching search already today.

Nice pivot. Can't seem to answer the question asked

Yeah, we’re happy with Jimbo. 9-1 all conference schedule with only loss to Bama was a strong showing. Beating Bama with Calzada was impressive. Recruiting is even more impressive.

Now you can answer my question.

We fired 0. Two years after the GOAT season because he wasn't meeting expectations.

You will enjoy a perennial 3-4 loss team for another decade

That wasn’t the question. We know you fired O. He was already paid a salary for 2019.

The question to you is - What did he make per win last year and this year?

I just answered your question, and now you won’t?

LSU's coaching search is the biggest unanswered question in the sport at the moment. Everyone knows the landscape of the game will change, but nobody quite knows how. It's going to be a topic of discussion and speculation until the job is filled.

Jimbo at A&M is business as usual at the moment. No news. No big changes. This thread, and all the others like it, are just run of the mill obsession.

So I could understand how

Yes because I'm paying attention to more than the wins and losses. If he was recruiting the type of players Sumlin was getting I'd be concerned but when I see the types of players he is stacking up along the lines and the fact we have a defense I know it is a process. Injuries are a part of the game and you have to adapt, but I do wonder what the season would have looked like had Haynes King not gotten injured so early. Jimbo certainly rebounded from the King injury better than the QB that got hurt against Bama his last season at FSU

Overall, yes. The amount of success and direction of the program has been acceptable thus far. This year is a failure to meet expectations, but program growth isn't usually linear. I can somewhat excuse it when QB1 goes down. The culture, expectations, levelof talent are all getting to where it needs to be. If there is no progress next year (9 wins before the bowl) then the seat will warm.
