my emotions change depending on the game. sometimes i cry like a little girl, other times, especially in rival games, i get really fricking wasted and pick fights when they talk shite. but as i get older, i won't even address the game for a few days. i mean i will not fricking talk one second about it because i get so fricking frustrated, especially at situations like dumbfrick DeRuyter getting completely outclassed by that idiot Gundy! GODDAMNIT, I actually hate that shite. i cannot believe Sherman couldn't run the ball in the second half. And for fricks sake, our Corners and Safeties gave the receivers more room then Rhiannas fricking restraining order on Chris Brown. godammit

I'll tell you how it is around my office. My brother and I work together, both big Aggies.
This year, I had hoped and prayed that we were finally going to be relevant again on the national stage. The signs were there, and all that koolaid sure did go down well.
Then, the longest QUARTER OF THEM ALL happened on Saturday.
I don't know WTF happened. All I know is that it was a mighty long drive home on Sunday. The mood is very low around here. Even the news we were waiting for regarding the SEC has not lifted the pall that hangs over our office (it sure has helped though). We were talking about it yesterday, how different we would feel right now if the game had ended differently...the excitement over the SEC inclusion would have led to drinking every afternoon.
The only good thing about it is that it is Wednesday, and we get to take out all that frustration on the toothless wonders in Jerryworld. At least that will be a step back in the direction of getting our street cred.
Maybe the SEC will forgive us for not coming into the conference as the reigning Big 12 Champs, because I won't. That is how this was supposed to happen.

I pretend to care what my wife and kids are saying while reliving where we went wrong in agonizing detail. The McNeal fumble, the 3rd and 15 Blackmon first down, the interception where Fuller slipped, the 1 carry we gave our back in the second half who was averaging 11 yards a carry, the god damn Gundy post game speech.
Its Wednesday, I was hoping I would finally be able to focus on the Arky game, I can't. Work? Yeah right. I haven't gotten anything done since two a days started.

This. Only thing that brought me back earlier this week was the SEC announcement.
And my wife already knows better than to utter the "it's just a game" line.

Finally found it again.
What you got here is a helicopter at the airport. It was blue. Now if you look at the right you will see a pilot hanging out the window. That pilot is none other than Tyrann Mathieu. that's right, he flies now. On the front you have a Dawg sticker that says "I <3 SECr." To the left you have crabman wearing a flight suit, and getting ready to go fly off into the wide blue wonder with his best pal Mathieu.
Hope you like it.

Lose a big game? Used to be that Dark, black-of-night inner rage in that place inside of you that you rarely ever look into outside of football season or a home burglary.
When I was younger, I might have to hit Radio Shack or Best Buy for a new remote on Sunday, because I had laid mine down onto the floor at 45mph after the final interception or opponent field goal.
I also used to get whisky drunk to forget and would call up whatever trim was in town and take my grudges out with her ...
Well, I'm a lot older, married with kids now and supposed to be upstanding, so I have a deal with the wife -- after a big loss, I don't want to talk about it and she's great, doesn't bring it up.
I now drink a bunch of beer, get reasonably pissed but philosophical about the game, self-impose at least a one day internet ban (sometimes two or three), and pay more attention to the kids, as in actually acknowledging their desire to play soccer, help with a school projects, homework etc. Tame B.S. compared to the old days.

This past weekend I walked from the stadium and straight to the Dry Bean which is a shot bar. I took 5 shots when I walked in. After that I found some ladies to keep my mind off the game.

By Thursday I'll return my friends texts and start reading pregame editable for the following week.
Friday I travel back to College Station and finally hash into last weeks details of why we lost so I can get properly pissed for the coming game.
If we win, I drink even more and claim we could beat the Dallas Cowboys if played at Kyle Field
good answer

You're telling this to the fan of a team that has heard every pun or joke about cocks ever told?

Hell, we have a shot bar at our tailgate.
After the Mizzou debacle last year, we opened this thing up after the game and drank it dry. Then threw a couple of benjamins to some students and told them go buy some more and bring it back. And we killed all of that too. All I know is I woke up the next morning with three fingers feeling like they had been dislocated. And when I fished my expensive sun glasses out of the front pocket of my shorts, they were crushed to smithereens.
There is cell phone video of me eating dirt that evening for cripes sake...on my hands and knees.
I don't know if the worst part of this story is that it's 100% true.....or if it's the fact that I'm over 50 years old and doing crap like this.
