Because all the chest pounding by A&M fan. If you are insinuating fear, I do not think a 7 OT game that was thrown A&Ms way by the refs or a loss to AU has put any fear into either program.

This was argued before A&M was a member, so you may not know. The SEC does not recognize standing position based on head to head competition. They do use it as a tiebreaker in determining Division representation in the SECCG. They use it for tournament seeding also.

Correct.
As far as LSU goes, the 7OT loss to the refs had no effect on our season. To the rest of the college football world, it's as though it never happened. LSU went to exactly the same bowl game we would have gone to anyway, and we finished ranked exactly where we would have been ranked anyway.
Everyone saw that game for what it was: an irrelevant fluke that hindered LSU in no way.

Call the SEC Home Office if you doubt what I am saying. This was discussed when TT and Auburn put up banners claiming tied positions in the standings. The SEC made the statement it doesn't consider Head to Head as the tie breaker for standings, just to determine representation. Post after you call them.
