If you could combine Cooper's (Llano, TX) Briskets and old Country Tavern's (Kilgore, TX) pork ribs, there'd never be another barbecue argument. Ever.

Michigan and Oregon played Alabama and LSU, respectively, who were both in last year's national title game.
Yes LSU and Bama beat the shite out of them. Guess what? Bama and LSU *also* beat the shite out of Florida last year. By a combined fricking score of 79-21. So WHY would anyone be as intimidated by Florida right now as they would LSU and Bama? WHY?
This greatness by association shite in the SEC is the fallacy. You don't seem to be grasping that part.

Spurrier won at Duke, in the ACC where he played against FSU and Miami.
No, FSU and Miami weren't in the ACC then. The big boys of the ACC at that time were Clemson, and Spurrier did beat them in 1989 when he won the ACC title at Duke (albeit a shared title with Virginia, who beat Duke head to head).

For my money and IMHO...no place has better barbecue than KCMO
Memphis was good, but not the same quality as KC.
KC stockyards, where cattle drives ended and beef reigned.

The key word there is beef. Beef isn't even on the menu in a bunch of BBQ places in the south.
That being said... I am a fan of good brisket and burnt ends.

Dude you totally screwed up. Half the reason I love deer season or laying waste to some hogs (sorry Arkansas) is just because I get to go to Cooper's.

Jeez, don't rub it in

Had a good reason for not stopping though--was driving straight through from Florida last weekend so by the time I hit Llano I'd already been behind the wheel for about 13 hours
