Austin is terrible these days. Traffic is insane, there are homeless EVERYWHERE, and the downtown area has outgrown that charm it used to have. I regularly visit Austin for work, and am appalled at what the city has become
Twenty plus years ago you could possibly have been correct about College Station. However, now CS is a lot like what Austin used to be. Have you actually ever been? College Station is at least two to three times the size as it was when I went to school.
And the Aggie Network is the BEST differentiator out there. Helped me when I was young, and now I help young Aggies in turn. Something you could never understand

Aggie Park is going to look great. Maybe the thing we've needed most. Greenspace is so valuable. The President's House or whatever that was, was a giant waste in prime real estate for game day atmosphere.

Not true. Both my kids were top 4% or some shite and both were accepted at UT. Both went to the school they preferred aTm. Just want you to know your commentary was not exactly correct.

More delusional shite from someone backing the sips. When you look into it, most of the guys talking the academic smack actually went to school in San Marcos or Austin Community College. As a west Texas kid, I'd seen enough of the campus during various UIL events that it had no appeal to me--as valedictorian, it would have been no problem to get in. I did apply (and was accepted) to law school in Austin, but just didn't think my sinuses could handle three years of mountain cedar--that stuff used to kill me.
