As long as they have the same in-season results our previous off-season champs.

Well I thought UGa and State split it this year.

LSU and A&M compete for recruits, live near each other, work with each other, have passionate fans, etc. So there are already natural reasons why this could develop into a bigger rivalry.

Next year should be an intense game in BR. I wouldn’t guarantee a victory for either team.

LSU fans have been saying “win something, then you can talk”..... and it finally happened.

Also, an LSU grad stole Raising Cane's from Layne's in College Station.

Todd Graves went to UGA, where he probably got the idea from Guthrie's.

Jesus, give it a couple wins before you post this shite. Kansas also beat Texas a couple years ago and that didn't make it a "rivalry"

They did play kansas on rivalry weekend (before a crowd of 5,000 fans)!

Typical Aggie wrong on all counts.

He is UGA grad , LSU diehard, and the concept comes from Guthrie’s in Athens.

poor horns would be 2-2 vs Kansas in the last 4 years if not for one badly blown call by a ref in sips favor

As an LSU fan my hate list is as follows........

Florida
Bama
Auburn
A&M
Ole Miss
Moo State
Arkansas

Maybe if A&M can beat LSU some more moving forward they may move to 3rd, but i don’t see them ever passing Bama and Florida.

You realize LSU still holds a 12 game lead on the all time series, right? 57 total meetings ain't a rivalry, bubba.

Ummm....I would disagree on that.

If you want to say it ain't a rivalry, fine. But THAT is not the reason. 57 times is plenty.

Florida and Florida State only have 63 meetings. Not a rivalry?

A&M / LSU Rivalry
Would require one team to win a bit more. A 1-7 record between two teams does not make for a rivalry. Just like 0-8 does not.

...win one game in 23 yrs in 7 OTs with 4 straight call reversals and now we are rivals.

6-6 in the last 12 regular season meetings

LSU has only beaten Aggies 7 times in the last 30 years

Am I doing that right?

Lsu just doesn’t move the needle for me. I thought I’d be excited about the win but meh it’s just purple Arkansas
