Jimbo is a good hire. I don't think anyone believes it is a BAD hire. I mean he has been around the block as an OC (AU, LSU, FSU) and has coached under the Bowdens and Saban. He knows the SEC and what it takes to win. Oh, and he has a NC ring as a HC. aTm could have done much worse.
Do I see him being another Saban and winning 5 NC's in a decade? No. Do I see him being better than Sumlin? Yep. One thing Jimbo wont do is screw up your QB situation like Sumlin did. Dude is a boss QB coach, one of the best in the bizness, imo.

Pretty sure LSU isn’t afraid of Jimbeaux. Since TAMU has “frick you money”, they should send a check to LSU to cover the property taxes on Kyle Field since the swamp kittens own the place.

Why do you need validation from any LSU fan?
Good hire. Hope he is worth the money. It is a lot of cash with Sumlin payoff, new contract and the FSU buyout.
