A little reflection on LSU’s season that any college team may never duplicate

LSU beat the winner of the Sugar Bowl, beat the winner of the Orange Bowl, beat the winner of the Fiesta Bowl, beat the winner of the Citrus Bowl, beat the winner of the Alamo Bowl, beat the winner of the Texas Bowl, beat the Big 12 Champ, beat an Alabama team on the road that had its greatest QB ever in Tuscaloosa and beat a Clemson team that hadn’t loss in 29 straight games.
Not sure any team including LSU will ever duplicate what college football fans have witnessed by this LSU team for the 2019 season. It’s just ridiculous.

Not only is it possible but it is also extremely likely that another team has a season like this - and in the very near future.
A team that wins the national championship is already guaranteed to face two Top 10 teams at the end of the season. If that team hails from the SEC, it's very likely that it will face another team that finishes in the Top 10 in the SEC Championship Game. So that's three Top 10 opponents right there back-to-back-to-back. And if that team happens to hail from the SEC, the likelihood of them facing two or three teams that finish in the Top 10 in the regular season are likewise very good.

2011 was great, no doubt...but go back and remove every defensive and ST score, and see just how B-A-D that offense really was.
