To be considered a true top tier program, you should only measure your success by getting to Omaha.

Thats it. Win the regular season title? Cool. You get an ice cream from concessions.

Win the tourney? Cool, here's a frito chili pie.

Omaha or bust is the only measure of how successful you are as a baseball program. I say this because of course LSU isnt making Omaha, it wouldnt matter if we snuck into a regional or made a super, this season will be a disappointment.

If you think your program had a good year without making Omaha, thats fine. Its mid tier thinking. You're used to being mid tier. And thats OK. Some programs have to be.

Will it be served to us by the losers that didn't win the conference?

Here's another reminder about baseball expectations:

LINK

Not sure what's more noteworthy; UGA predicted 9th but winning it all with 4 games left to play, or LSU predicted to win it all and finishing damn near dead last. Expectations are funny.

A friendly reminder to actually read the posts. Where is the post with someone claiming their team is a top tier program?

LSU winning the SEC and not making Omaha would be a disappointment. like being a national seeds and not making it out of our own regional.

We never said any school claimed this, as an LSU fan it is my duty to explain what a top tier baseball program should expect each and every year. We are the standard every other SEC school strives for in baseball.

Then act like it instead of making these stupid posts. UGA has had a great season so far. Let them enjoy it.

Well, what I know so far is that LSU is at the bottom of the barrel and was swept at home by A&M this year.

Coming from the guy that disappears after his team gets beat this is hilarious

Some of us only measure it by being the last team standing in Omaha. Not simply getting there.

Natty or bust is stupid thinking for baseball. But coming from an ole middle fan it's not surprising
