Some of the same folks bitched when Kentucky celebrating winning a share of the regular season title two years ago. Apparently the fans nor the team were supposed to celebrate their 2nd regular season championship.

They constantly want to shame you about what they think you should/shouldn’t do as a baseball fan.

Win the SEC and then not make Omaha is a disappointing season, just like last season.

I think everyone saw Texas for what they were last season. Relatively easy league schedule, didn’t have a winning record against the other top teams in the league. The ceiling for last years Texas team was about where they finished post season play. It just felt a little more dramatic because it happened at home to an in state city university.

Not me. Thats a great accomplishment for a mid tier baseball program.

Hey you’re not insulting me. Our first Omaha trip was the same year. You’re damn right I’ll enjoy any little bit we get.

you should only measure your success by getting to Omaha.

Then why are so many LSU fans still talking about LSU baseball? They are most definitely not getting to Omaha this year unless they buy a ticket.

Because we're still playing? Should we be shooting our friends when we lose games like Alabama fans?

I agree with you, pretty spot on analysis.
I was just pointing out that in college baseball for a few programs including lsu and Texas I agree with the OP, it’s Omaha or bust regardless of winning the conference title or hosting a super regional

It appears that LSU has become a lower tier baseball program.

Its fun that you think a program that won 2 of the last 3 titles is no longer an upper tier school based off of one bad season.

Not surprising considering you're an Alabama fan struggling to accept your own programs fall from grace.
