So they believe having 7 stadiums hosting garbage games is better than possibly losing one of your home games every other year in order for a possible top 10 matchup at any point in the season?

9 conference games, 1 P5 nonconference game, 1 rent a win, 1 bye week. 8 team playoff (16 if you could convince the conferences to dump the conference championship games, which would be difficult, and even if you could, should you?).
