It seems like the whole conference wants it and I don’t understand how they claim it would be a money loss? nobody wants to watch Auburn beat the hell out of the citadel in November

Add another meaningful conf game to regular season because the bowl games outside of playoffs are meaningless now
Definitely need to go to 9 games - a truer champion

Drop the Crap games, the rent a wins, go to larger playoff group, fewer games in the season, yet critical games in the year, longer playoff

10 would be even better. That’s a pipe dream for us SEC fans though. The current format sucks bad. The bottom line is, nobody cares to see those FCS games.

Last two votes have been 1-13 against. Money thing is simple. Extra game means 7 full stadiums and 7 empty stadiums. No extra game means a potential 14 full stadiums.

Yes!
Except that it is hard to shorten the season and play 9 SEC games, given that everybody is going to want one or two OOC games at least.
I do think a ten game season, with nine SEC games, and a 32 team playoff would be cool.

I imagine Florida and South Carolina are against because of our rivalry games with Clemson and FSU that the rest of you don’t have to deal with. It’s not that big of a deal though, we would just have to schedule two cupcakes every year we don’t play Miami with 9 conference games plus FSU and Miami would make it really tough If we are ever in contention again.

100% for it. I'm also in favor of OOC being solely power 5. At this point, college football needs a shot in the arm. It keeps getting more and more expensive and eventually a bubble is going to burst. Only having the big teams play each other would be huge. frick the Bill Schneider method of scheduling for 6 wins.

Would be cool to see 9 game SEC season, 1 Non-Confernce game, and 32 team playoff.
