The only time a defensive lineman needs to bench press in a game is to lift the offensive lineman who just pancaked him off!

All together, I would take LSU's personnel.

But I would take A&M's defensive line and coach

Congratulations, you found a thread on a message board of fans wanting a 5*. How shocking.

The one coached by Coach O Face and Everyone Loves Raymond. Because we all learned this offseason that assistants are more important than coordinators (because that is the only equation that allows Steele > Chavis).

Chavis' success absolutely depended upon having the best secondary in the nation. You'll learn why, eventually.

He had 600 pounds on the bar plus the (66-pound) chains so that’s all that can fit on the bar," Jackson said.

Why are they just now getting bars that will hold over 700?

Just for the record, I always thought Mack would and will be an excellent player

When y'all agree with me when I am emulating a ridiculous caricature of an LSU fan it makes me smile.

All this tells me if your S&C team doesn't know what they're doing. 600# is more than manageable on a standard weightlifting bar.

Has your staff never worked with anyone strong before? Weird to see this problem at a Power 5 school.

This.
Daylon Mack is a legitimate 5* talent and I expect him to be a fricking badass on the field as well as the weight room.

Larry Jackson is not. He's got a great nickname and not a lot else. The difference between a LSU and Moffitt's S&C program and Jackson's is night and day. I simply haven't seen any incremental improvement in the Aggie football players year-over-year under him and you continue to see the same injuries to the same position groups over and over. I think he's one of the biggest weaknesses on A&Ms current staff.

You should know all about failure.

What was the score in your bowl game?

Wow. Well that definitely explains that weak two-hand touch drill they call the gauntlet.

Moffitt came up under Olympic Coach Gayle Hatch.

This just isn't true. LJ has been great. Our older guys had big 12 frames, there wasn't a lot of mass to be added. Our younger guys have made great gains. The biggest thing with LJ is our team, despite being one of the youngest and thinnest in the league, consistently has more gas in the tank at the end of games.

The prime example is Arkansas last year.

The injuries are more about playing guys that aren't ready.
