Apparently the GA bitched about the pizzas coming cold.
You ordered $2k worth of pizza, of course it’s not going to be delivered piping hot

You have no idea the actual tip was. As I said earlier....there is typically gratuity already added onto the total cost. I slung pizzas back in college as well and helped deliver a couple hundred pizzas to the IPF a few times during spring and fall training.

We made bank....and it wasn't from a tip left on the CC receipt.

We never had that issue. That's why there's a few dozen insulated bags. The ones at PJ's can hold 5 large boxes in them and trust me it'll take a long as hell time for them to get cold. My car was a fricking sauna during the 5 minute drive.

Every day until I travel to Columbia this fall. Gotta build up some hatred because I don't think I've rooted against SCAR since we played in 2010.

It looks bad, yes. But I can't imagine the manager of that pizza joint is too happy about an employee pissing off the biggest money maker in town.

I was about to come up in here and remind everyone that Papa Johns is racist and Carolina is clearly not woke.

But then I discovered Shaq is the new spokesbrother for Papa Johns so clearly Carolina is now woke AF.

ShaqFu delivering the goods for Papa Johns

quote:

Papa John’s International Inc.’s new partnership with former NBA superstar Shaquille O’Neal is a bid for “cultural relevancy” following many months of fruitless effort to regain its footing after its founder, John Schnatter, became embroiled in controversy, according to an industry expert.

On Friday, the pizza delivery chain announced that O’Neal would join the company’s board and become an ambassador for the brand.

Of course not.
I expect that employee to be fired.
As I’ve said this seems to happen a lot and the person who posts the pic always ends up getting fired

Her daughter is about to be out of a job. It won't be too hard to figure out who this was once this goes viral.

She is probably making less than minimum wage - I am sure she will be ok.

. I could see not knowing what you are authorized to tip. Which is common for employees like this. For for not hot 200 pizzas. That’s bad for the GA

No, they didn't.

“This afternoon we had a misunderstanding with an employee at (South Carolina). We have taken care of the issue. Over the years we have had a great relationship with (South Carolina) and we look forward to working with them in the future.”

Unless there's something out there other than this tweet. They never mentioned what the tip actually was. Just that there was a misunderstanding with the driver.

And if you've paid attention to anything that I've said in this thread....it's a pretty easy assumption what the agreement actually was. If she ended up with only $2.50 tip then that's on the restaurant manager who negotiated the deal.

CA state minimum wage is on the way to $15 an hour. What is the logic for tipping a job that requires literally no qualifications on top of $15/h?

Are you for sure that this is guaranteed for people who rely on tips?

also I realize it isn't difficult at all to obtain a drivers license but that's literally a qualification so it makes your post look pretty stupid.
