Crap, knew I shoulda took that scholly offer from North Dakota State

NDSU just won the FCS National Championship. In the semi's they destroyed Ga. Southern who gave Alabama fits. I've been to NDSU many times and it's a nice area.
I would say Auburn is the nicest college town I've ever been to, with Chapel Hill in second place. Auburn also made US News magazine's list as one of the best 10 cities in the United States in which to live.

Auburn is a decent town but to say it is nicer than Chapel Hill is crazy. they are not even in the same ballpark IMO.

You can't be serious. Columbia isn't a bad college town, but Columbia has no place on this list.

And yes, it's a city not a town. I really don't care about these lists because it's always the same ones. Give me something that varies once in a while, like best wet t-shirt contest or something. SEC-style

it's not off either, just remarking on my dismay at how one city can be so much hotter than the rest of a state that seems like it's on fire during the summer. seriously, i think columbia may be the hottest place i have been outside of south georgia

well, i guess it basically is south georgia until you get to the coast

Oh, and you're right about the Columbia heat. There's a reason why the city slogan is "FAMOUSLY HOT"

The fact that College Station is on this list is a joke.
