Personally, I'd (a) send the kid to the ER immediately to make sure he's OK and to document what happened to him
Yet even the mother in her interview and in her own words said her son required no medical care. But you really think he should have been sent to an already overcrowded, overstressed and often times misused ER just because?

The story
You may want to rethink that position. They asked him if his peanut allergy could kill him, he said “absolutely it could”. Then, they stuffed a bunch of peanuts in his jersey inside his locker. OP’s source says they also threw peanuts directly at the boy, put them in his shoes.
We have evidence of just how calculated this was, because the kid was concerned enough over his bullies that he had recorded that conversation with his phone.
The corrupt school district ruled this didn’t constitute bullying, and there were no notable consequences (suspended for a throwaway game).
I am pretty sure the mother is not gonna let this go because her kid is facing backlash & she can go after them for aggravated assault if she wants to, easy — no matter what Lake Travis & the district think about it.
Kid knowingly did something that could have killed his own teammate. His parents were working their asses off to get it swept it under the rug, but that seems to have backfired.
Heck the school district could be liable too. They basically covered the thing up

LSU fans want Wade back and he received money from a children’s hospital. Forgot how LSU was so high and mighty.
Less t shirt fans tolerated on the recruiting board. It’s actually moderated.
And no LSU fan approves of what Alexander’s dad did but smooth pivot.

I have specified many times I need Pank to show where this argument was presented in this thread. He can talk about it, but he cannot actually back his accusations.

Now watch as they backpedal...
Pank has been doing that at least the past hour.

Good luck. This is where immunity comes into play. Have fun suing a public school.

Read page 1.
Those 4 shitbirds think the peanut allergy was invented just to attack a fricking count of a high school football player.

Not quite. I am suddenly craving a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. But I am out of peanut butter. I think I am going to risk it and try to run the gauntlet of peanut butter protesters outside my neighborhood grocery. Wish me luck.
If you don’t here from again you will know my fate.

You do realize you can’t just go to the police and tell them to arrest someone don’t you?
They and the DA make that decision based on the evidence.
Actually, you can go to the police station and tell them to arrest someone. That's what I meant by pressing charges. That simply means reporting a crime. Of course it is up to the police and DA to make a decision. I didn't suggest a citizen's arrest there Barney Fife.
My point was that the parents shouldn't be upset with the school district that criminal charges weren't made. The school district is not needed for that.
