May have been said, but the anc pod system is what we need.

The argument is who goes in what pod, but the scheduling is what is important.

Four pods.

Every team plays the other 3 teams in their pod AND all four teams in another pod. The cross-pod rotates every two year home-away cycle. Each team has a primary permanent and a secondary permanent. The secondary permanent comes into play when the cross division includes the primary permanent.

SEC Championship game is between the best 8 game SEC record in Pod Group A and Pod Group B

Cant we just replace Mizzu

I understand keeping AtM but the SEC would be better without Mizzu

That would never work, an SEC in that design would fail.

How the heck do Tennessee and Vandy geographically fit in the Ozarks? Tennessee is home to the Smokies. And why would it make sense to separate these charter schools from the opponents they have been playing against since way before the SEC was formed. I think you set these pods to convenience yourself!

I can see that geographically, but those are terribly unbalanced.

Atlantic is ridiculously weak
Melting Pot would be the most stacked division ever
Alabama would never lose the Natchez
Pioneer looks to be strong, but not overly so.

Yes. After all you have your Appalachian reputation to think of.

Do one for Oregon and USC as they are more likely to get in than two NC schools

Alabama is Gulf Coast as frick....I think the SEC drops Ole Miss due to the level of frickery going on over there.

The best way to do pod schedules is add one more conference games and then everyone has one rival per pod and you play your 3 pod team your three rivals and then one full pod. With this set up a Junior player will have seen ever team in the conference in his three years.

Why would the SEC put two teams from the same TV market in the league?
