Agree. Top 20 easy. Rest not so. I debated UCLA the most out of your 4 and V Tech a bit. Decided KSU and OSU have had enough 2000s success to get in over them.
You actually have South Carolina twice so you can squeeze one more in :)
See your
26. S Carolina
27. UCLA
28. S Carolina

The Swain guy doesn't know shite and is speculating. Everyone knows we will eventually end up with a new league that splits away from NCAA. It's not a very difficult prediction. The only question is what that league will look like.
Personally, I think 64 teams makes more sense. 32 is too exclusive and leaves out some quality programs.

Just take top 32/64 whatever in terms of revenue.

I give up.
I miss the SEC champ to the Sugar Bowl and Big 10 vs PAC10 Rose Bowl.
Big 8 to Orange bowl.
SWC to Cotton Bowl.
Multiple 1 loss teams abounded some years.

Did you mean to put in another team here?

The B1G and SEC are 32 teams right now.
But if you're going to build from scratch.. then the SEC Teams that make the cut would be:
Texas
Texas A&M
Oklahoma
LSU
Alabama
Auburn
Florida
Tennessee
Georgia
Arkansas.. maybe? Ole Miss.. maybe?
You just got here, you fricking newbie.
I'd say programs who have unlimited resources but squander them by winning only 1 NC in 5 decades and lose to Kansas should not have a seat at the table.

yeah the players have been the ones pushing for this.

Wisconsin should be much higher.
No way they don't make a 32 team super league
Top 20 in attendance and around 12th in revenue
A lock for top 25 and a good case for 20-15 range.

You need teams that can compete with the big boys. Recruiting is the key. without that the team will not be good and will be at the bottom of the ranking yearly.

A 32 team "super conference" would be absolutely horrible and essentially destroy everything that makes college football unique. I hate this BS idea that something like this is inevitable.
Yes, if completely destroying 100+ years of college football tradition is inevitably"the future" then by all means welcome the change for change sake and destroy the unique sport we all love.
HUGE caveat to everything I said above...a 64 team college football "league" compromised of the current major conferences might be a compromise but essentially relegating only 32 teams to either a series of pod schedules or NFL like divisions will be the absolute death knell of college football. At that point it's nothing more than a pathetic minor league pro version of the NFL. F that!!

I'll go ahead & say it:
Can't wait to see the arguments about who makes #32 & #33.

I already think the portal and NIL suck. Doing something like this would end my interest completely in what's left of the college game.

Terrible for the sport. Terrible for the fans. We've always been rebels; I say let's go back to a 12 team league and play them in the playoffs.

Will it even be college football?
Is that what you would call it now? We went pro 4 years ago, where were you? The problem isn't who is in who's conference, the biggest problem is the need for some type of internal structure concerning NIL and Transfers.
We have totally left amateur football and we don't have the bylaws to govern it. We are a house without a foundation. Superconferences are at least a hope that someone with half a logical mind can police what is and build some structure into all this coming and going.

create a minor league football league and take the name off the teams and come up with new names.
Unfortunately brand & history are the only things CFB still has going. It's just the NFL jr. otherwise & I got too much shite to do on the weekends to spend 2 days watching the NFL

IMO the damage has already been done. We have these retarded super conferences now and completely new rosters every season. It’s not college football at all

They are in my 32 team league. They aren't 32nd most important. The groups are alphabetical.
To get them in the 15-20 range, who are you realistically kicking out of my top 20? Miami? Nebraska?
