3 West teams alive - Bama, LSU, A&M

Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M
These are the only three teams that are still alive in the SEC West. No combination of game outcomes can put Arkansas, Auburn, Miss St or Ole Miss in the championship game.
A&M needs LSU to beat Alabama to stay alive, so we’re all in for them this weekend. GEAUX TIGERS!!

We don’t control our own destiny now. Have to win AND depend on other games to go our way.

I guess A&M is mathematically alive, but they're hanging on by a thread. Auburn are about to put them out of their misery though.

For A&M to win the West, all of this would need to happen:
Bama would have to lose its last three SEC games against LSU, MSU, and AU. Bama at 5-3 third place SEC W.
LSU would need to beat Bama, but lose to both Arkansas and A&M. LSU at 5-3 second place SEC W.
A&M would need to beat LSU, OM, and AU. A&M at 6-2. A&M first place SEC W.
In short, it ain't happening this year, aggy.

Good catch.
But all those other things still aren't happening. A&M is playing for what is at reasonably best second place. 1st place is ALabama's to lose, and second place is LSU's to lose (or first is LSU's to grab).
