re: Tropical Storm Rafael - Spinning Down in Gulf

No way it could top what we sat through for the Oregon State game a few years back. It started raining so hard and so fast that the stadium couldn't empty fast enough so most just said screw it and sat in it. It even brought out a full NFG streaker who entertained the crowd by making a fool out of security with his moves.

My opinion, if one person dies or one person's life is flipped upside down because they lose everything they've worked for in life, that weather event is not a dud. The only people claiming a "dud" are the idiots not living that nightmare.

Not necessarily directed to you AllDay, but anyone in general who can answer this. With the mandatory evacuations, can we expect any of the storm chasers to be near ground zero for this one, or will they be more on the outer fringes?

Anybody with Houma people, is it possible to get in there today from Baton Rouge? I need to check on my store down that way if possible, just wasn't sure if they were letting people in.
Same thing with Laplace. Is it accessible or flooded out?

Yep right here. Hoping this thing keeps on jogging East.

I literally thought I was going to watch someone die that day. That guy badly underestimated storm surge and it almost cost him and his partner.

I think several had him as Brett Adair. Dude got overwhelmed by storm surge and shite got serious REAL fast.

Who was that crazy sumbitch that had to climb walls and break in to houses? I think his car even floated off.

These storms and power loss is a toss up. I only lost power during Gustav for less than 48 hours. I was without power for over a week with Ida.

They are just mad because they are a lesser accomplished, poorer and dumber version of Duke. They are like Aggie of the ACC. Homo-erotic males at an institution that hasn't won anything of relevance sports wise in forever.
re: This team will play in Omaha this year

They will more than likely make it to Omaha, but have you seen anything the last month that gives you reason to think they could win even 2 games there? They have the talent on paper to win the damn thing, but something has to happen in a hurry to make it all come together and that is looking sketchy.

its easy to be undefeated against a schedule that would put you at 153 RPI
and yet they couldn't even accomplish that !

Just imagine JD's stats if Boutte actually caught balls thrown to him. Wild huh ?

His "stock" was because of him, and him only.

This exactly! It's not like he was a vital contribution to the offense that made an SEC championship game. We'll be just fine.

People are hating on a paid athlete who quit on his team. Before the season even began.

Shitty attitude and work ethic can ruin the best talent. If you really think any other QB on this roster gets us the season we just had, you are delusional. Maybe if Boutte had been about the team and put in the work to build that QB/WR relationship, and THEN made the catches on opportunities he was given, his season would have been better.100% on him. Personal accountability goes a long ways in a TEAM sport for it to be successful. Good riddance.

Why is Aggie even in a football discussion?
