Legitimate point. A real possibility. But with Florida's record for firing coaches lately it would make me stop and consider if I were up for the job.

Personally, I think culture fit is as important as anything else, and I'm not sure Florida would put up with Kiffin's personality. Maybe I'm wrong. It's been known to happen!

You cant rely on AI for anything sports related. Those nerds that created it completely whiff on anything sports related even when you have sources as accessible as Wikipedia it could easily draw from

I’ve tried using it for historical references on toughest schedules recently to compare LSU’s 2019 season too and it gave me 2023 Texas as a comparison. They played 2 top 10 teams that season to LSUs 7. Shits retarded

Tell me again, why would Florida be a downgrade from Ole Miss for Kiffin?

Love and Family matter more to Kiffin at this point in his life than whatever material gain Florida claims they can offer. Begone Satan.

Heading into Athens, OM is ranked #5 and a betting favorite to make the playoffs. Not a bad ceiling. But, a win on Saturday would even shatter that.

If you define programs by single seasons you won't learn much.

Which program would you rather have for the next 10 years? What about the next 20?

Which one has a fertile recruiting ground? Which one isn't literally right beside LSU and Alabama competing for a lot of the same guys? Florida alone has enough talent to sustain at least 2 of FSU, Florida, and Miami. Which one has more money? Which one has the highest recruiting ceiling if you have them humming? Florida is about to fire their coach and is 13th in recruiting, Ole Miss like you said is going to Athens undefeated and ranked #5 and is 20th.

I think Ole Miss is miles ahead of where they were as a program 15 years ago and I think they will probably continue to be a decent program even after Kiffin leaves. I also think its crazy to try to say they are a better job than Florida.

We've had one coach in the NIL era. He just happens to be the worst coach we've had since the 1940's.

When are you morons going to realize that anything before 2020 doesn’t f**king matter. It’s a new era. 20 years ago was the Florida job better than ole Miss? Absolutely. Now? A lot harder to answer. Wins and losses since the start of the NIL/Transfer era indicate that Ole Miss is the better job (we have the third most conference wins behind Georgia and Bama since the start of 2021). Just because you used to be good (yall really have only had two coaches ACTUALLY win big there), doesn’t mean you will be good in this era. Look at yall, Auburn, Nebraska, USC, Oklahoma (more recently), Florida state (been better than yall more often than not since 2020). I could keep going. It is going to be so fun to watch yall melt when the new Ole Miss/Kiffin contract is announced.

Assuming that’s somewhat accurate, as well as the previous 2 years, we have no excuse.

2-2 since 2020.
Didnt play in 2020 when FSU was terrible (3-6) and UF made it to SECCG.

They may have won more games overall in the weaker acc though.

With only 2 good coaches UF has still been better than your trash arse program going back at least 75 years

UF still beat you clowns at your peak with the worst UF HC since the 1940s.

Um...are you dumb? At UF he can win a fricking title. Great coaches can do it at UF, FSU, or Miami. Same as Texas, Georgia, USCw, LSU, Alabama, Ohio State, etc

Talent is very easy to get in Florida. Failure to win is on coaches or injuries. Talent should never be issue at any of those schools above at all.

This will not land well with Florida fans. With the current state of UF’s administration, Ole Miss is a better job than UF.

That has to be fixed first. Then the investment into facilities and NIL. NIL can be a quick fix. The other two take years (if not decades).

Add in other Florida programs doing better, Miami, FSU, South Florida, even UCF, and the more competitive SEC teams (South Carolina, Vandy, aTm, Mizz…) the Florida job seems like a big uphill challenge.

No different than when LSU was trash and the Warrick Dunns, Travis Minors, Brock Berlins Ed Reeds, etc etc left LA in droves.

The Big 3 win and that changes.

I keep saying this, but the roster isn’t the problem. This is the most talented team for Florida in over a decade. I’m not talking about recruiting rankings either. Those can be deceptive since some highly touted recruits are garbage(Mullen stocked the cupboard with overrated recruits). For as shite Napier is at being a gameday coach, that’s how good his staff has been evaluating talent. I gotta give the man credit where it is due.

Napiers best year for offense was his first year before everyone and their mother figured out his tendencies. This roster is better across the board from 2022. The problem was, is, and will continue to be Napier; his playcalling and time management.

Even with Brainless Napier losing more than he reeled in the 7th ranked class last on NSD Florida is deep in talent and GA is up the road.

The elite players will stay home more when/if UF hires a competent HC.
Hopefully they have learned that the up and comer BS doesn't work.

Billy Napier recruiting class rankings 24/7 sports:
2022 - 18th Nationally - 8th in SEC
2023 - 13th Nationally - 5th in SEC
2024 - 13th Nationally - 7th in SEC
2025 - 7th Nationally - 4th in SEC

Over that time he's only signed three 5 star players.

It looks like elite players are doing the opposite.
