Bama's OL was their weak link on Offense
In terms of penalties, absolutely. Nothing about their play on the field had me worried, though.

Good, because I have neighbors who are Bama fans and I worry about their sanity.

Yeah jam Waddle/Smith and let me know when they're 15 yards behind your mediocre DBs. We also return 4 starts on the O-line.
Great post
What happened to the two Safeties ?

Yes they do.

The College Advisory Committee’s process for determining whether underclassmen are ready for the pro game changed in 2014. Under the revised NFL guidelines, a college can request evaluations for only five players, with exceptions determined on a case-by-case basis; previously, there was no limit on the number of players from one team who could be reviewed.
The ratings system was revised as well. In previous years, the Committee would evaluate players in one of five categories: potential first-round pick, potential second-round pick, potential third-round pick, no potential for the first three rounds or no draft potential at all.

And seriously, I'm sure Mac Jones will improve. He was not a bad QB at all -- just had a bad game against Auburn. I'm sure he won't throw 2 pick sixes in a game ever again. Saban will have coached him up.
Those pick sixes sucked (one was just a crazy "this is Auburn in Jordan Hare" bounce), but I actually came out of the Auburn game more confident that Mac Jones can be a good SEC QB than I was before. He was tough and made a lot of good plays in that game.

Imagine being this delusional

It’s easy to be that delusional when you convince yourself everyone else is being delusional. Clearly Alabama fans here have stated that Mac Jones is better than Joe Burrow.

Mac Jones just threw screens and slants and Bama fans think he's gonna be Joe Burrow LOL!

I'm thinking a 3000/30/10 year for Mac, or thereabouts.
10 being INT, not rushing TDs
10 being INT, not rushing TDs

Nope. Keep tilting at that windmill.

Nice stat, but again misleading. Take out the Ark game and then look at film of what he did. He underthrew many passes that their WR made up for. Jones is serviceable as a manager, but he will not withstand SEC Ds all season. Take away his biggest deep threat and now Defenses will be able to flood their normal passing lanes. I guess Bama fans are thinking if Burrow can do it, then Jones has to be able to do the same.
Mac Jones is more than serviceable. Don’t think any person thinks Jones will be like burrow or Tua. It’s not even a sure thing he will be the starter, Bryce may end up winning the job. Mac will at least have some options with a deep RB stable along with Waddle and Smith.
I would say the defense is a bigger concern than Mac running the offense. I think Alabama is fine there.

But all he does is throw short passes. Well that's just because of the Arkansas game. Well you think he's gonna be Joe Burrow!

Against some of the weakest Ds the SEC has produced in 15 years. Check Bama's schedule.
