Any season without an Arkansas-LSU series is gay and doesn't count.

Hard pass on baseball this season.
Kept our 3-27 staff.
Brought in a d2 quality transfer class.
Made no progress on moving the tiny stadium off the windiest highest hill in Columbia which makes a third of our games hypothermic.
Choosing to spend our money on wrestling and gymnastics as the third sport has been a choice. I’m sorry you all have to watch this.

I’m really high on this State roster but that’s a crazy schedule. I mean on paper the three easiest series are road trips to OM, SC, and A&M, all highly loseable series. And then everything else is just brutal.

Just realized that State & Bama don’t play this year. That probably breaks a one hundred year streak of playing a baseball series between the schools.

Actually prior to the first expansion, there were East & West Divisions. And the cool thing was you played home and home. Six games. So State played LSU, OM, Bama and Auburn both home and away during the season. Talk about intense and competitive and rough and fun for the players & fans.
Not nearly the same today.

And unfortunate for State as I think they’ve won every series against Bama since 2016.
Even the two terrible Lrmonis teams took series from Bama. Lol.

So many loaded baseball teams. Even the easy schedules are going to be tough. I am looking forward to the chaos.

I can’t believe LSU went 19-11 in the SEC last year. They were so dominant in the post season.
