Casey's numbers are sliding since his freshman year. I think it is time he sits in the dugout and give someone a chance at SS. We can't be error prone at that position if this team wants to go back to Omaha. It is no longer a slump, something else is wrong.

Martin taking a big step back is an issue we will have to address. It is just one of those mental funks that a player gets in that is like quicksand. The more he struggles the worse it gets.
We are also missing a closer. The last few years we had the luxury of a shutting the door on people in the last few innings of a game and we don't have that this year. At least not so far. Still, it is early in the season and we will do some tinkering.
