3-5 are interchangeable at this point.

The regular season and SECCG will decide which of the three finishes in the top 4.

Not sure I see two SEC teams finishing in the top 4 tho.

Have you read this thread? Your fellow Tigers are bleeding all over the place.

That has nothing to do with UGA being overrated as per usual, however

Porter Osborne just pointed out that, Georgia is in fact, not overrated every year, and in general they finish better or the same as their preseason ranking.

But instead of debating or acknowledging him. You just repeat the same statement.

LSU fans are in midseason form

You return the same people that got dominated last year. I don’t give a shite about your stat. I’ll give you a stat, it’s been 40 years since your last championship. Irrelevant

I mean LSU fans can't actually think they are going to win this year.

They are an 8-5 program that shows up at the right times every so often.

They are ranked where they are because reigning Champs. Says a lot they are so low.

The defending national champs are 5 behind 3 teams they beat straight up last year, 2 of which were arse whoppings

Easy motivation for a coach O

We return the #1 scoring defense in the country in 2019.

LSU was the only team that scored well on us, and you guys are only returning 30% of your offensive production. That’s 129/130 in the FBS.

1980 lol. I’m sure this will help LSU this year.

What certain LSU fans don’t seem to grasp is what happened last year only matters if you actually have the same players as last year.

How many players do you return off of that team?

So you respond to homers by making an equally ridiculous statement? LSU has lost as many as 5 games twice in the past 20 years. If you wanted to make a point, it would have made more sense to say they've been a 10-2 to 9-3 program with championship seasons in between

Oh, I don't know. The numerous butt hurt LSU fans including you who complained about UGA being ranked higher.

And you don't return a majority of the people who did the dominating. How are you missing that point.

It’s not even about that. Returning starters is an overrated metric. For example, a starting RB could have 1200 yards and leave for the NFL. The backup could have 1000 as well, but it will count as a lost starter, even though it’s not really a loss.

Returning production takes into account a teams total yardage, tackles, sacks, deflection, interceptions, etc. and then determines what percent is returning.

In LSU’s case, not only are they losing multiple starters, but they are also losing a lot backups who got in a lot of games last year.

LSU is 129th in FBS in offense and 92nd in defense.

Preseason polls should be abolished. They mean absolutely nothing. Plus, there's no consistency on whether or not voters are voting for which team they think is better going into the season or if it's a projection of where they will finish. For me, the schedule is irrelevant because the rankings should reflect who the best team is at that point and not where you think they will finish.

Our defense is certainly better than last year, and we still return close to 3,000 yards receiving on offense and 46 receiving touchdowns

Well, I don't know about the last time anyone did, but the last time LSU was the defending champ, they started the season at 6/7. I don't know why people would be offended by starting the season in the top 5.
