Clemson is not the best team entering 2020. They might be the team most likely to be 12 and 0. So Clemson will be a playoff favorite. They have one difficult game in the 2020 regular season...

Ditto for Ohio State

Florida has tough games with LSU and Georgia. Both toss ups. I do not buy Trask as a championship QB.

Doubt Bama wins in BTR. But that game is a toss up as well.

LSU will be a playoff team if they can win three tough November games.

So depends on how your ratings are done.

They are tho. They’re returning Lawrence, Etienne, and their entire defense (minus Simmons)

Did you miss our bowl game? That was a preview of how good our offensive backups are.

Yeah, I saw a Big 12 team demonstrate they had no clue how to cover a single threat at WR.

So you saw good blocking, good running, and good catching, but Fromm under throwing passes that should have been easy td passes?

Sounds like addition but subtraction.

Biggest Positive: It looks like most of the main parts of the coaching staff will stick around. Ed Orgeron was named the Coach of the Year, the top assistants are in place, and for now, Joe Brady appears to be committed to the cause for 2020.
Brady and Aranda are coming back

Yeah. Alabama has a rough time winning in BTR.

Losing Simmons and Terrell on D and I think Higgins on O early, along with 4 OL who were all seniors.

Not saying they won't be good, but losing 4 OL can mean a lot of growing pains for any school

Against Baylor? Sorry, but losing twice to a very mediocre OU team and barely scraping by in almost all their other games doesn't seem impressive to me.

I’d have LSU at at least #3. I know that previous season’s success isn’t technically a factor, but still.

The defensive front will be fine – it’s Florida.

This is lazy as frick and a convenient piece to ignore. I’ll buy Florida being better at OL and Trask doing well with Mullen and a year under his belt but given the attrition they experienced from their last class and the departures from this years squad, you’re going to have to do a lot more than this lazy bit of analysis to convince that the Defense is going to be just fine

You could say the same exact thing about UGA's entire offense

Yet the media pundits seem to ignore this.

You know nothing about Florida’s defensive personnel

Terrell isn’t exactly a big loss. He was a liability. Higgins isn’t a big loss to me, they have two guys who will breakout next season (Ladson and Ngata) and Ross is still there.

Against a top 10 team with a good defense with our backups? Yes, it was impressive.

You’re right, I don’t and I doubt anyone other than Florida fans do. So maybe they can justify the defense a little more than “they’ll be fine” when Zuniga, Greenard, and Henderson are all gone and Grantham’s blitz-happy arse remains?

I think they addressed UGAs offense pretty thoroughly? Fromm is gone, Newman is in and brings experience. OL got hit hard with attrition, receivers should be better but still have to step up, and Swift is gone. The only thing not addressed is how Monken’s offense will affect things which, given that we won 12 games last year with as predictable a non-identity as a team can have, I think we will be no worse

The UF oline was finally average by the end of the year. Is returning average players really that great of a thing?
