I wish they would move the Alabama-Florida State game to Sunday, like the ND-Texas game last year. It's going to be insane.

More than shocked at how high LSU is in the SI poll.

How is ESPN the only voice of reason regarding Tennessee?

That USA Today writer must be on crack.

Michigan at 4? They practically lose everyone on their team.

I laughed hard at A&M being picked by any outlet.

However, I'm laughing even harder at every outlet ranking texas when they lose several of their best players, including the nation's leading rusher, have a class outside of the top 25, and have tried and failed to flip any commit from their competition.

surprised Okla is ranked so high, given they are lost both of those RBs and Westbrook and their defense wasn't dominant this year.

It's a blue blood thing, you wouldn't understand.

FWIW, the preseason AP #1 team has not won the national title since 2004 USC. Actually, 1993 Florida State, 1999 Florida State and 2004 USC are the only preseason #1 teams to win the national championship in the last 30 years. I would much rather not have Alabama ranked #1 to start the season. That preseason #1 ranking is a curse.

i understand Clemson dominated okla two years in a row, one year with Cole Stoudt.

your blueblood talking point is based on championships back in the 1950s and 1970s. college football is a lot different now, more competitive programs.

A little surprised we're not more overrated given that Michel and Chubb are coming back with a Soph QB and a Junior/Senior laden defense. All things considered, though, I think the 10-15 range is appropriate; just surprised we're not being overrated preseason.
