Insanely awesome!

Almost all big SEC games at home, huge neutral site match-up with FSU to avenge OM's loss to them. Looks like a fun season. As tough a 4 game stretch as you might find (OM, A&M, Arky, Tenn); but three of those at home.

9/2 - Neutral Site - FSU
9/9 - Fresno St
9/16 - Colorado St
9/23 - @ Vandy
9/30 - Ole Miss
10/7 - @ Texas A&M
10/14 - Arkansas
10/21 - Tennessee
10/28 - BYE
11/4 - LSU
11/11 - @ MSU
11/18 - Mercer
11/25 - @ Auburn

Some pretty interesting OOC cupcake games compared to the South Carolina State and Presbyterians of the world. Then you have Florida State to start it all off. It will make for a more entertaining schedule for Bama fans. But i can understand others not being as excited, which is why i would have never posted it on this board.

I'm not particularly thrilled about their OOC scheduling. I hate the fact that they never do home and homes. In particular, I want Bama to do home and homes with Texas and Notre Dame so they can improve their head-to-head records against those schools. Plus there's no reason why they can't have a second lower-tier Power 5 school on their OOC schedule. The Duke game in 2010 was a lot more enjoyable to watch than any of the OOC games Bama has played against non-Power 5 schools.

With only a couple of exceptions, I am inclined to agree - all P5 are better than the mid-majors we are scheduling. It's hard to anticipate which mids will be good.

I'd love to have some middle-tier ACC or B1G schools as well as the top tier we play.

I also get the point of the neutral site games (neither team loses out on revenue), but I agree - I'd love to get some home/home with the same powers we're scheduling for neutral site games.

Here is awesome. Don't know whether to LOL or cry at ut's schedule leading up to Bama game. Looking at the first eight weeks in two week segments.

They open with GT and then play Indiana State.

At Florida and then UMass.

UGA and then a bye.

SC and then at Bama.

Do people think Bama's AD can just call up Notre Dame or Texas and say we want a home and home and this is when it will be played? I bet anything neither Texas nor Notre Dame want a two game series with Bama at the moment. This might change in a few years when Saban leaves, but right now I doubt they are interested. I wish the SEC would wake up and adopt the nine game SEC schedule so at most we only have two of these cupcake games a season. I'd also be fine with going back to an 11 game schedule since we now have the playoff. If we played a nine game SEC schedule with an 11 game regular season that would leave just one potential cupcake game a season.
