I think it looks good but I feel we beat Bama but still take a loss somewhere.

yea but he fixed that two game losing streak in pretty incredible fashion. Teams don't beat saban twice in a row because the third times beat down will be epic.

That seems about right but I think there is a possibility that LSU & OM could swap places depending on who wins our game

If LSU can lose everyone they are losing and still will 9 games, Les Miles is one hell of a coach.

They "could" win nine games, LSU still has a ton of studs on their roster.

The other possibility with the bowls is Texas A&M going to the Cotton Bowl and Georgia going to the Sugar Bowl. I'm sticking with the original prediction though.

LSU's schedule:

Tier 1: at Alabama, at Georgia, vs Texas A&M

LSU could win these games, but it's not likely. Predicting 0-3.

Tier 2: vs TCU, vs Florida, at Ole Miss

LSU should be narrowly favored in all of these games. I have them winning all three, and I don't think they drop more than 3 games between Tiers 1 and 2.

Tier 3: vs Auburn, at Mississippi State, vs Arkansas

LSU should be comfortably favored in all of these games. I don't think it's controversial to say they win all 3.

Tier 4: vs UAB, vs Kent State, vs Furman

If they lose any of these...

So while 9 wins after the departures sounds high, six of those should be pretty easy. All they have to do is go .500 against the better half of the schedule and do the one thing Miles is unquestionably good at - beat the teams they're supposed to beat - and they've got 9.

Great breakdown.

I say that LSU goes 1-2 against the top tier and wins the rest. Or, 2-1 against the top tier and loses a game to the tier 2 teams.

This team is ridicuously talented all over the field. With the offensive line largely coming back and Mett having another year under his belt and a great running game, they will be more consistent on offense (not spectacular, just more consistent). The defense has the players. They just need to learn to work together and I believe that Chavis, one of the best in the business, will have them ready.

I am not predicting championships next year, but I do think that 10-2 with that schedule is possible, if not likely.

No one expected LSU to do what they did in 2011 with a really young team. I expect them to do a similar thing in 2013.

might as well have been. They were clearly the best team and won the NC that year. They've made way more controversial title claims than a west title last year.

If LSU goes 9-3 that will be pretty good considering the players we have to replace on D and a brutal schedule having to play Georgia and Florida out of the east. I think we end up going 2-2 against UF, UGA, Bama, and aTm winning our home games and losing the at UGA and Bama. Also think we drop one we shouldnt to an ole miss or somebody similar. Solid prediciton.

Perhaps. But, you actually have to win championships on the field instead of in your mind, so we'll just keep that one that was won legitimately, if its all the same to you.

K? Thanks.

Arkansas Ole Miss (I think arkansas is the better team out of the two personally but I wasn't all that impressed with the freezus when I went and watched ole miss)

Did you watch Freeze when he beat yall in Little Rock or when we outscored Bama 7-6 in the 2nd half in Bryant-Denny (With a team composed mostly of freshmen and sophomores ) ? Because if not for Bo Wallace throwin the ball up for grabs a few times , I thought we looked pretty damn decent both games
