Great question. Sumlin has had no success with other QBs, so he'll probably drop to .500 ball at best once Johnny leaves. Sure, there was that 11-1 season at Houston, but that was just because of the great Case Keenum, who is sure to be selected to play in multiple pro bowls, if he can just get a team to put him on the roster.

In 1988, Barry Sanders averaged 240 rushing yards/game. We held him to a measly 150, and still lost 52-15.

Either the pass that popped off Evans' shoulder pads and into an LSU defender's hands or the the incredible TD catch at the end of the first half. If either of those are different, A&M wins that game.

That would be a silly play to change, since Bama would likely still have lost. Bama would have had about 30 seconds to get a TD, with no timeouts, from about 50 yards away.

I bet the DMN got their numbers from someone within A&M AD, from part of the group that wants to keep the new stadium on the smaller side (95K or so).
If you only call it is sellout if we sold every available ticket (including scattered singles or tickets within extra areas that were opened up beyond capacity - like temporary seats on the track), then we have fewer sellouts.

A&M started selling out two or three years ago (prior to the SEC affect). Since that, it has consistently sold out, and there is now quite a long list for season tickets.
Prior to that, A&M lacked the branding to get "t-shirt fans," a large enough alumni base to just sell out with alumni, and was far enough from major urban areas to make it hard to sell out with locals.

How the hell are they going to do that? Either they move the field closer to the west side after lowering it, in which case the zone if off kilter, or they extend the west side of the stadium down some more. It seems like they HAVE to extend the west side down some more, doesn't it?
