Another Auburn thread

you were here for the offseason, y'all brought it upon yourselves. We heard all summer about the immediate and vast improvement that would take place and september rolls around and it's more of the same.

Auburn losses to a decent team and it's all over. Tennessee beats a below average team and the sky's the limit.

Based on what we've seen so far, it's a warranted discussion.

You seen a team with a new QB, 0C, and new DC lose in the last minute to the now #12 team in the nation with 4 draft picks on their offense.

Calm down bro'

Considering your defense had 8 months to get ready for clemson and looked like that, I think there is cause for concern. The biggest improvement is made from week 1 to week 2, so we'll have a better view on sunday...it still remains though that with ample time to prepare the defense looked circa 2011

Tubs last defense was infintely better than this teams, but the inverse could be said about the offense.

I'd say push, I think Auburn is looking at 5-7 this year.

Clemson is a bit overrated to me, and the game Saturday was pretty damning.

Clemson finished the season horribly last year, they're in the bottom third of the NCAA in terms of defense (81 last year), and they were missing their best player.

I'd be concerned.

Sorry, joey. It was appropriate.

they're not as bad as people are flipping out like they are

BUT

they also showed no proof that they have gained any ground on the LSU, Alabama, Arky leaders in the west so people go bat shite because they want to compete for divisions

I agree with Risefromtherubble. There were many combacks from Auburn fans when other posters pointed out that Auburn will have some trouble due to having a new offense, new DC, and first year starting QB.

Now I'm reading some backpedaling.

FWIW NC State pummeled Clemson 37 - 14 last year.

Basically everyone is back for both teams. Not much to pick between the two really.

I will say that Auburn needed that Clemson win and now REALLY needs to show up against State

the first five games... Brutal

AU still has a lot of ?'s on both sides of the ball. Time for folks to step up and take control, both players and coaches.

It's the ACC. NC State finished 8-5 last year.

yea but it's still game one.

Hell we were set to go 1-11 last year after the opener. Some folks really need to accept that you can't predict an entire season from one game, or conversely i need to become more hip and understand what trolling is...because trolling is cool, right?
