Answer the guys question, I've been watching SEC football for 25 years and i have no idea what went on between Nutt and Freeze.
When Ole Miss got busted for cheating, to salvage his recruiting class and to keep players from trying to transfer, Freeze lied and said most of the violations happened during the tenure of Houston Nutt.
This was a lie.
Nutt got a lawyer & sued. It was Nutt's lawyer who, during discovery, found Freeze's calls to whores. Ole Miss settled with Nutt but I have never heard a public apology from Freeze about this.
You can't talk about Christianity and redemption and 2nd chances without being honest about your sins.
Ok good info to to know, I didn't keep up with what went on when Freeze was fired.
He may have apologized in private. I'm not saying he did but we will never know.

Nutt sued because his name was being publicly trashed for things he didn't do. Freeze publicly slandered Nutt. If Freeze wants forgiveness and a 2nd chance, he should publicly apologize.
If Freeze were to come out and apologize to Nutt, and to admit that he shouldn't have been messaging & intimidating Liberty students that were the victims of sexual assault, I would be fine.

Freeze paid hookers to sleep with Ole Miss recruits. Not himself.
Complete bullshite. Even Robertson has said that never happened.

Wrong.

Coach Freeze had knowingly lied to the journalists and recruiting prospects by saying that the NCAA’s investigation had little, if anything, to do with him or his coaching staff and was instead focused on alleged rules violations by Coach Nutt’s staff.

Cause frick Houston Nutt.

have yet to hear any justifiable explanation for why Freeze was going out of his way to intimidate the survivors of sexual assault at Liberty.
Because Freeze has no idea how to use social media or how to keep himself from stepping in shite. Think of him like you would a small town HS football coach. He is not adept or self-aware.

You're just big mad over the fact that Auburn hired a better coach than Sark.

Did he give the Nutt frost bite?
The answer is that Freeze fed lies to reporters for months/years deflecting blame for his own conduct onto allegations that they were instead committed under Nutt, before the public had access to the real information.

Ole Miss the university needs to apologize in an official capacity to Houston Hutt. Freeze was just a cog in the wheel of Ole Miss and is contractually obligated to toe the party line.

Do you guys have a president, AD, or head of compliance?

Didn't freeze try to blame nutt or implicate nutt for some misdealings or something... I forget off hand.

Talk about an ungrateful university.

Freeze and Bjork tried to blame the NCAA investigation on Nutt. He demanded a public apology. Ole Miss refused, so he sued them. And it was Nutt's lawsuit that took down Freeze once they got ahold of his university cell phone records in discovery

All of those positions have been purged and have new faces since the Nutt incident happened.
I’d rather the current crew not dig the topic back up as it had nothing to do with them. Ross Bjork can apologize though, he owes a lot of apologies these days
