2 days ago ESPN produced a segment called ‘Caitlin Clark: Queen of Clap Backs ??’. The focus; her clapping, “You’re down 15 points. Shut up,” and of course the “you can’t see me” hand wave.
Her “trash talk” was embraced and celebrated. It wasn’t stigmatized and pathologized.

Very interesting that it was celebrated when Clark did it and now the sports pundits are claiming unsportsmanlike conduct on Reese.

My only problem with the LSU gal is if you watch the video she was following Clark around trying to taunt her it wasn’t just trash talking in passing in the game

This sounds like "Everyone should have the right to protest, unless I dont like the way you are protesting."
That being said, I tend to agree that she went over board. But its not worthy of the hate she is getting on twitter and in the media.

That was my take as well. I don't watch much (actually any) NCAAWB, so I don't know if Clark does it to the extent Reese was doing it, but the clip I keep seeing of Clark doing it is just a passing wave in front of the face. Reese seems to be hounding her with it.
Either way, I won't lose any sleep or raise my BP even one point over it.

To the contrary. I don’t think you care about any of it. I think you see it like other opposing fan bases, as an opportunity to take a jab at LSU, and when has the Ole Miss fan base missed out on an opportunity to do that? You don’t need validation for that. It comes naturally, and it’s not that I care about that. I just think you need to own the real motivating factor, and stop trying to bullshite everyone.

I have no problem with what Reese did…it’s what she said at the podium that annoys me…and all you worshippers are giving her a pass because you are all weak betas. If a white athlete had made a similar statement they would have been destroyed before the mic went cold. U know I’m right.

This situation is slowly, but surely opening my eyes up a little bit more to the race issue we have in this country. Why was the exact opposite done to Caitlyn when she did it? Truly interesting.

Had Iowa won, Clark would’ve been talking shite and clapping back too. The only difference is, she would’ve been immortalized and labeled a legend for doing it.
