LSU averaged 48.4 ppg
LSU averaged 21.9 oppg
LSU's closest game was a 3 point win.

Nebraska averaged 53.2 ppg
Nebraska averaged 14.5 oppg
Nebraska's closest game was a
14 point win

The 1995 Nebraska Cornhusker football is the great college football team of all- time.

That was a strict running attack too. They ran like 90% of the time.

Actually, I forgot to put the g on oppg but thanks for pointing the mistake out for me. Don't let my mistake distract you from facts.

I'm OK with that. There will never be another team as dominant as that Nebraska team.

Doesn't change the fact that you're a shitty, welching, troll

A noted LSU hater names LSU the 2nd greatest team of all time. We’ll live with it.

But Osborne’s option playbook was like a short passing game akin to many of the spread option stuff you’ve seen the last decade.

Vegas set the line at 2019 LSU -17.5 against 95 Nebraska.

2019 LSU was only -8.5 against 01 Miami, so that might’ve been the path of least resistance for your Saturday research assignment.

Different eras, Nebraska didn’t play the schedule that LSU did, but were very impressive especially the title game.

It would be a VERY close game but in a shootout I think I'd give it to LSU... I was a swamp kitten fan but after O's post game speech,"we own them and we're gonna own their arse in recruiting", I began to despise then as much as Hilary Clinton...

With that said, the 2019 LSU certainly had the best season of all time and went through a murderous schedule in the process. My head says hats off to them but my heart says, frick em with a cactus w/out lube then leave em passed out in a hotel Andrew Gillum style....

I’m sure Saban’s never said anything in the heat of the moment that was never meant to be heard by anyone outside of the victor’s locker room. Or that he elects to kick their arse. Or that he’s gonna make their arse quit.

He's not wrong.

While Nebraska would have a hell of a time keeping up with LSU's passing attack LSU would be equally unprepared for Nebraska's run game.

There is also the question of which rule book would be used.

Almost all passes over the middle would be a no go for LSU if the rules from 1995 were allowed while if we had the 2019 rules Nebraska's run blocking schemes would be severely impacted.

LSU would not be able to believe how good NU was at rushing the ball

At the same time, Nebraska never faced a pass offense quite like LSU

That being said, Nebraska smothered Spurrier’s Florida Gators 62-24 and Manning’s high-powered Vols 42-17
