And how would Nebraska's run game have held up in the NC game, since LSU shut down A&Ms, Georgia's, Oklahoma's, and Clemson's....."IN A ROW".????..

LSU didn’t forget how to run the ball.. I’d take LSU. There is a reason everyone is shifting to the spread.

Imagine what 95 Nebraska would do

Probably also lose by 3 tds

Nebraska would dominate the T.O.P and keep Joe Burrow off the field

Man that's a good strategy. I wonder why none of the other top 10 teams we played tried that?

MSU education doesn’t know the difference between an insult and a fact

What I stated to your compadre was a fact

LSU education doesn’t know the insults can still be facts. They aren't mutually exclusive.

We all know you didn't get an education at LSU though.

This was the talking point going into the Fiesta Bowl against Florida. You can watch those old clips on YouTube to this very day of Corso saying Nebraska's rushing attack would be stoned by Florida's SEC defense.

He's not a Mississippi State fan. Pretty sure he's one of your own.

That and the fact that they annihilated every team on their schedule.

64-21 over Oklahoma State
50-10 over Michigan State
77-28 over Arizona State
49-7 over Pacific
35-21 over Washington State
57-0 over Missouri
49-25 over #8 Kansas State
44-21 over #7 Colorado
73-14 over Iowa State
41-3 over #10 Kansas
37-0 over Oklahoma
62-24 over #2 Florida

When you outscore four teams that finished ranked in the Top 10 by an average score of 49-18, and destroy virtually everyone else by an even greater margin, it's not so much an image of invincibility that is made. It IS invincibility.

Even in the '70s and '80s when Nebraska struggled to get over the hump against Oklahoma, Miami and FSU, they still beat everyone else in the Big 8 by ridiculous margins because that conference sucked.

The Top 10 teams from 1995 that you're talking about are Kansas, Kansas State and Colorado. Big fricking deal.
