I meant the 3 after 1998. It's a shame what happened to the scheduling after expansion. I'm glad we're getting back to the old way of doing things with playing in every league stadium within a 4-year span.

Yeah it’s the schedule that’s made Georgia more successful than Florida.
Not the fact the Florida athletic program is a total fricking joke.
Georgia has won 2 national titles and 3 SEC championships in the last 5 years and it’s because their schedule. Got it.

This is the weirdest talking point. A&M has been an average SEC team for most of their time in the SEC, and the teams have basically no history. Who the hell cares?

You need to try counting again. We have played in Baton Rouge 4 times counting 1998 to today. (1998, 2003, 2008, and 2018) LSU has [played in Athens 4 times since 1998 (1999, 2004, 2009, 2013) so it looks to be even.

First of all, this news was not a complete shock. Last November new Auburn athletics director Allen Greene said publicly that it was a priority to get some “breathing room” for his team which has to play both Georgia and Alabama in the final three weeks of the season.

I think you have it backwards. We have played uga at home since joining the sec. Y'all appear to be the ones afraid of playing in Kyle Field.
Enough with the smack. Neither A&M nor Georgia is in control of which conference games they play and when they play them. This whole argument about who is ducking who is ignorant which is not a surprise on this board.
I think both Georgia and A&M are ready to play each other in Kyle Field. A&M and Kyle Field are one of the best experiences in the SEC for those that make the trip.
LOLSU and piggie seem to be the only ones worried about playing at Kyle Field.

It's another season before A&M makes a trip to UK. I've wanted to host a family tailgate for well over a decade. Why the SEC schedulers have allowed this to happen escapes me.
Frankly, UGA should be pissed. It's not like my Ags have been world beaters in Kyle. It's probably a W for most UGA teams in the last few years.
That said, A&M is a hell of a road trip. The SEC has denied UGA fans of that tailgate scene; the hospitality, a beer at The Chicken, Midnight Yell, March-In, Fightin Texas Aggie Band, and all the other stupid shite we do.

Aggies were supposed to go to Lexington in 2025, but expanded again, so there went that. If Florida wasn't complete garbage, they would have an argument, but with all the built-in advantages that they have, Florida and their fans have zero leg to stand on.
With that said: Florida WILL lose one or two, but make the playoffs in 2026.

That has been my point, repeatedly. Whenever someone claims that “UGA is ducking A&M”, I just turn it around. Neither control it.

It is really stupid. Conferences are too big and schedule-makers are dumbarses.
The SEC doesn’t have to worry about that and if travel times need to be trimmed down the SEC can make sure teams are playing much more regionalized games. With the Big 10 being coast to coast, you can’t do that and i ultimately think it’s going to be the Achilles heel that takes that conference down. Because you’ll have programs that will leave over it in the next decade or so and bigger brands will think twice about being the replacement. Especially when you take into account the revenue sharing isn’t equal among its members
