Oklahoma is likely headed to winning the B12 with 2 or 3 losses. They're out. Just need one more conference to F this up.

ACC is in. B1G is in. SEC is in. PAC 12 will NOT be left out for a third straight year. Deal with it!

You're wrong. It isn't about the best teams OR the 4 best conf champs. It IS about the 4 teams that will make the most money (best ratings) that the committee can contrive to place in those slots.

This could easily happen. They will have 0 teams in the top ten if Utah wins on Saturday at home.

Saying "deal with it" after you make bad points just makes you sound dumber.

For A&M to make the Playoffs:

Two Scenarios:
Bama Loses to Both Auburn and LSU:
-A&M need to win out and go 11-1, win SEC championship and they're in

4 Teams:
1. Michigan/Ohio State
2. Clemson/Louisville
3. A&M
4. Washington

Bama Undfeated:
-Bama absolutely trucks everyone else
-Ohio State needs to lose to Michigan (1 loss Michigan would probably rank higher than A&M)
-Washington needs to lose twice, or to a 9-2 Wazzu who would go on to win the Pac12
-Oklahoma wins Big 12 but drops another game
-Chaos in Big 12 and they have a 2-conference loss Champion
-Louisville loses again or Clemson loses 2 games

1. Bama
2. Michigan
3. A&M
4. Cluster frick of Louisville/Clemson/Washington/Washington State/Oklahoma/WVU/Baylor

I don't see either happening but a Sugar Bowl vs Baylor would be a great year for A&M

I don't know but if I were on the selection committee , I would definitely take a one loss SEC West team over a one loss Big Ten team. I don't think it's Ohio St you'll have to worry about though. Michigan , maybe , but they've yet to play anybody for mentongive an opinion.

After all is said and done, there will be four conference champions in the CFP. Always has, always will be. That is why there is a CFP and not a BCS. May sound dumb, but anyone who believes or thinks otherwise is the one who is dumb.

"Always has been" goes back a total of 21 months, two tournaments. That's it. Both those cases all conference winners were 0 or 1 loss teams with strong schedules. Nobody knows what would happen with 2 losses or a mediocre 1 loss team like Utah.

Picture this scenario, though unlikely with LSU's schedule. LSU beats bama & runs the table & wins the SECCG to finish up 11-2. bama finishes up 11-1. LSU beat them heads up, wins the SEC out right. Bama goes to the playoffs, right?

Maybe. It depends on what else happens. They would be in the same boat Mich, Lousville, or OSU would be at 11-1.

When LSU wins the SEC, if a second team makes it in, it will be Bama at 11-1 and a win over TAMU, not TAMU, that gets the consideration.

Our best case is going 7-5 right now... Probably go 6-6.

If A&M takes care of Ole Miss and wins out, then they're likely going to the playoffs if:

1) Michigan wins out
2) Wazzu beats Washington

Good day.
