11-1 Aggies and the CFB Playoff

Don't get me wrong. Ole Miss is a good football team, but I think the Ags outlast the Rebels at home.
So with A&M going 11-1, what kind of chance do the Aggies have to make the CFB Playoff? They'll need some help from the current top 5, but it doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility.

There would be a chance of them getting in. Would need help though. Maybe have to make a statement against LSU on Thanksgiving.

Win out and it will be close. A win over L5U would go a long way. 11-1 with a wins over L5U, AU, Ark and Ole Miss would look pretty good.

Thanks for the responses, guys.
Sounds like everyone agrees that if A&M takes care of business against Ole Miss and gets a little help from the current Top 5 then the Ags will have a decent chance at getting to the playoffs.

I think we get in ahead of a one loss Louisville team. We just need there to not be 4 undefeated P5 teams. There won't be.

you lost to Bama. your hopes are dead unless both LSU and Auburn beat them.
there will never be two teams from the same conference in the playoffs. all four teams will be conference champs. you don't make it to Atlanta, you don't make it to the play offs. sorry.
lastly, it will be moot anyway. ole miss ain't your problem, it's LSU. and you knew that when you made this post; a post in which you felt all rosy and smart about due to what you considered a clever omission.
