SEC rant- need your help in conference argument

I'm up in Yankee territory (Ohio). As football season has begun, there have been a lot of smack talk between my coworkers and I. I made sure to rub in this past weekends Big Ten effort. And their retort has been that the SEC is overrated and overhyped. They really aren't the best conference, it's just media hype. I need some good retort. I'm looking for graphics, stats, articles, etc, that prove the SEC's worth. Records in BCS games, against power 5 conferences, NFL players, first round picks, draft picks, recruit rankings, etc. Anything and everything any of you may have handy.
Any help would be appreciated, sorry for the offseason-ish thread

Big10 is a joke conference. Anyone who denies this still just need to be ignored.

There a picture floating around earlier from ESPN showing win percentages by each conference vs the other Power 5 conferences, I don't know the timespan, but the SEC dominated.

I would move. If they don't see it by now, they never will.

I mean you are arguing with Yankees. It's not like they are going to agree with you.

We only troll each other here....
How about we beat the projected winner if the big 10 in week one, and there biggest powerhouse lost to VT.

Just tell them that, while we may have been a bit overhyped in some regards, literally nothing on earth was as overhyped as OSU.

I am surrounded by Big 12 folk. I hear this all the time. Every loss is the SEC overrated. Every win is the other team was overrated. When you ask who is better then? They shut up really quickly.

Point to all the SEC National Championships in the BCS era, and then tell them to Kiss the rings, Bitch.

SEC had 5 teams win a BCSNC. The rest of the entire bounty had 6 but USC had theirs stripped so 5. SEC had 9 total BCSNC rest of the country had 4 if you don't count USC

7 out of the last 8 national championships. 5 out of the top 9 teams in the nation right now, and 6 out of the top 12. On top of that, what you can show people is recruiting rankings. Biased people don't decide how good recruits are and make them choose a certain school. The SEC has dominated the recruiting rankings and it shows where the most talent in the nation is. I'm not a guy that cheers on the conference or chants "SEC, SEC" but you can't deny that it is clearly the best conference in college football.

Anyone who tried to tell me the B1G is the best football conference would just get laughed at.
Here's a great article if you need ammo:

Over the last four years, the Big Ten has gone 35-48 against the other Power 5 conferences as currently comprised, and 8-25 against ranked Power 5 teams. The Big Ten's traditional powerhouses -- Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, Nebraska and Wisconsin -- are 19-27 out of conference against Power 5 opponents.
The Big Ten has several statement games in 2014, such as Michigan State-Oregon, Wisconsin-LSU, Nebraska-Miami and Michigan-Notre Dame.
3 of those games have already been played and were all losses -- though Wisconsin deserves a lot of credit. Ohio State choked against unranked Virginia Tech in Columbus. Nebraska barely beat McNeese and thanks to Louisville we already know Miami blows. And all the other OOC losses last weekend were a joke. Iowa has struggled in back to back weeks against inferior OOC competition.

How about SEC vs Big 10 in bowl games for the past 10 years? Not sure what it is, but can't be pretty for them.

Living in Ohio, you must be paying rent to UF.
