Diamond and McDaniel have looked pretty good in their starts this week. If they can keep this up we have a shot at Omaha especially with several bullpen arms starting to step up as well.
Any idea who we pitch tomorrow? If we throw Mallitz out there I'm afraid we will be down 10-0 by the time the 2nd inning rolls around.

Myers is pitching
Harris is playing first for Baker. I know Baker has struggled at the plate, but he is a pretty good defensive first baseman. I’m not sure Harris is a better hitter either.

Baker has been good in the field, but we can’t bear to have an auto-out in our lineup. With how poor or bullpen has been at times, we need all the run support we can get.
I’m not sure why we don’t put JRP in our lineup somewhere. He’s been our most consistent bench hitter and he gets on base. Maybe move Graham to 1st and put JRP in left.

In the 7th today when they did a bullpen camera and I saw Miller warming up I almost had a heart attack.

Solid showing by our pitching staff this week. At least Mike doesn’t have an excuse to throw Doug again. We can get back and be completely fresh for what really matters.

Pretty happy with the week. Have some good momentum going in to the regional. Excited to see who comes to town and how we do.
