Would you rather appeal or just take it and move on? I’m not sure which I prefer. I wished all this stuff can be put behind us and move forward from today. On the other hand, I’d like to not have a bowl ban next year. Such a fine line. Because if they don’t accept the appeal, it really only continues the cloud over us.

Yeah I don't know either. On the one hand if you do appeal, you can't pump sunshine and get people expecting it to get removed. That will set people up for more disappointment. If you go into it with the idea that it's a long shot, I don't see what the problem is.

So who all do we think transfers? I'm assuming Lodge is getting phone calls right now, as well as Patterson, Rawlings and Sims, anyone else that will be getting recruited?

Only seniors can transfer without restriction. Ta'amu, Lodge, Speaks...
I'd be surprised if we lose a lot of players. They played for Luke this year and didn't give up. I suspect with the lighter than expected penalties, they'll continue to play for Luke.

The only part I find really shocking is how light Freeze got off. That's crazy that he can be an OC immediately.

Plausible deniability.

Keeping Luke is really looking like not too bad of a strategic move now. I can't think of anyone that could keep the roster together as well as he can. Plus, with the bowl ban next year, y'all will get to hold a more thorough coaching search and hire from a pool of candidates during a (hopefully) less competitive period. And hey, Luke may turn things around and dominate next year and y'all are set for life. Given the circumstances, he really may have been the best option.

I'm worried that some players are trying to rally the team together but Shea does not appear to be one of them. As much as I love Ta'amu, I think Shea will improve and be the one who can make the offense incredible. I wonder if his family is one that has approached Mars.

Y'all may lose Shea, but Ta'amu isn't too bad of a consolation prize. Dude is legit.

All the more reason Ole Miss should hire him as a consultant now.

Is it a given that Shea will leave?

I feel like he is gone.

I dont think we got hit too hard tbh. Only seniors can transfer, 13 schollys, and some cash money. Could have been much worse imo. We will suck for the next few years, but in the end.......
