They’ve probably all done camps together if I had to guess. Regardless thats solid pickup for the Hogs and State too. All are 5* kickers/punters. These are their rankings.

Little is the #2 kicker and #7 punter.
Nichols is the #5 punter.
Costa is the #7 kicker.

I’m genuinely envious of some of y’all’s out of conference schedules. I know Ole Miss sucks right now, but I’d much rather watch us play a Power 5 opponent than a cupcake. Ole Miss finally set up its first year with multiple Power 5 opponents in 2025. We have a lot of scheduling freedom after 2025 and I’m hoping we slip in more years with two Power 5 teams on the schedule, even if the teams we schedule are teams like Oregon State and Wake Forest.

2020: Baylor (Houston), Southeast Missouri, UConn, Georgia Southern

2021: Louisville (Atlanta), Austin Peay, Tulane, Liberty (I hope freeze is still there at that point)

2022: Troy, Central Arkansas, at Georgia Tech, Tulsa

2023: Mercer, at Tulane, Georgia Tech, ULM

2024: Furman, Middle Tennessee, at Wake Forest, Georgia Southern

2025: at USC, Wake Forest, Tulane, Citadel

2026: USC, Western Kentucky

2027: Oregon State

2028: South Alabama

2029: at South Alabama

2030: at Oregon State
I like the idea of having multiple non-con games against the Power 5 per season. In 2025, we go to USC and host Wake Forest. I get way more hyped for those games than the other shitty non-con games.
Another significant factor i saw pointed out elsewhere is Partridge can coach safeties and line backers. Durkin can coach linebackers and D-Line. That gives us tremendous flexibility moving forward. That means we probably make Bo Davis, Tosh Lupoi, and Karl Scott all tell us no because we could hire any of the 3 and make things work.

247 is reporting it. Can’t link it
Yeah I don’t want another McGriff but I trust CLK if he’d hire this guy over Mac

From everything I’ve seen, he’s Michigan’s best recruiter. Would be a home-run hire recruiting wise. I’m not sure about play calling though. But I also read Saban tried to hire this guy either last year or the year before but I’m not sure in what capacity.

Sounds like we may to look to NFL for Dline and/or LB coach

Anyone heard anything on Tosh Lupoi? The Browns fired their HC so I’d assume Lupoi is on the market
You do realize we dropped the 4* QB right? He wasn’t a fit for Kiffin’a offense and that’s fine. He’ll do well at Oregon.

It’s also extremely difficult to replace a QB this late in the recruiting cycle so shocker Kiffin took a 3* that he thinks fits his system instead of a 4*. Also, the kid we got wasn’t ever committed to him at FAU. But keep trying I guess.

SIAP, but the word is Lane is trying to get Bo Davis to join the staff. And possibly Tosh Lupoi as well.
Word is Jeff Lebby from UCF is close to being named OC. His offense averaged 43 points per game in his two years at UCF. They averaged 39 points against power 5 opponents over that span.

I hope that’s exactly how that went down

Rumor on the staff is Briles for OC, Shannon for DC. Siskey, Nix, and Peeler will probably get a chance to stay. And Kiffin will also likely try to get Frank Wilson to join. Some have suggested Wilson may coach TEs or Special Teams instead of RB or WR to make it work keeping Nix/Peeler.

Well both rivals and 247 are confirming it now so I guess I’ll believe it

Now Ben Garrett is confirming it as well

McCready tweeting that Kiffin to Ole Miss is a done deal, although not yet signed, and he’ll be announced officially on Monday. Wolken also just wrote (independently of Neal as a source) that Kiffin is coming to Ole Miss.

Yeah Ole Miss manages to frick up just about everything, but for once I actually think we have an AD that’s gonna get it right

Henry, it may be time to start firing up The Network again
Great pickup for you guys. I know Ole Miss wanted him really badly before we fired Luke.
